Port of Saint-Jacques - Sarzeau

SARZEAU

    Port ou cale

Dominated by the villages of fishermen's houses of Grée, Kerfontaine and Kerignard, the port of Saint-Jacques at the beginning of the 20th century sheltered a small coastal fishing fleet specializing in crustaceans. The municipality of Sarzeau wanted to modernize to accommodate boaters. It now offers 365 berths at the port and at anchor outside. However, not all fishermen have completely disappeared and it is still possible to find on the port their crates filled with whiting, sea bass, congers, mullet and shrimp. Visitor's practice: anchorages, harbor office, launching crane, toilets, shower.
