Scultptures Park and Arboretum of La Mare au Poivre

Discover 300 stone and wood sculptures in a unique place for its originality in Morbihan in the heart of the Lanvaux moors and as many newly listed trees and plants! Enter and let yourself be surprised by the magic of the place. "Here, we hear the elephants chirping" in a 5 hectare wood shaped by Alexis Le Breton, a colorful character. A retired farmer, Alexis has devoted the last 23 years of his life to creation. La Mare au poivre is now one of the 30 selected art brut sites in France alongside the famous Postman Cheval Palace. Marie-Thérèse Pasco, Alexis Le Breton’s daughter, helped by volunteers, welcomes and guides visitors in an intimate and quirky atmosphere!
