Old planes and space

The Museum of Aeronautics and Space presents its collections in 3 historic hangars built in 1940-1941 by the Luftwaffe to house the Heinkel 111 bombers intended to bomb England.

Visits to hangar 3: Conquest of space. First man on the moon. Apollo 11. Saturn V. Ariane. US Colombia space shuttle. Giant models.

Hangar 4: History of aviation and the Vannes airfield from 1909 to the present day.

Hangar 2: Old planes Étendard 4M, carrier-based fighter plane on the Foch and Clemenceau aircraft carriers. Fouga-Magister T33. Mauboussin and others.

Outside: Guided tours of the Noratlas 2501 and Transall C160, paratrooper-dropping planes and Sikorsky H34 helicopter.

Open in May, June and September on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm.

Open every day in July and August. Closed in the morning.

Closed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday off season.
