Chapelle Notre-Dame du Burgo

    Site et monument historique

Enclosed in the military camp, the chapel of Our Lady of Burgo surprises with its imposing dimensions for a rural chapel: 32 meters long and 7 meters wide.

It was built in the 16th century, a period of peace and prosperity in Brittany, by the lords of Kermainguy, François de la Feuillée and Cyprienne de Rohan.

Flamboyant Gothic in style, the chapel retains a molded western portal in a basket handle surmounted by an accolade and a monumental south portal with twin doors surmounted by a molded tympanum.

Without stained glass, the apse bay only appears larger.
