LOCQUELTAS

    Parc et jardin

Discover 300 stone and wood sculptures in a unique place in Morbihan, in the heart of the Lanvaux heaths. You will also find many newly identified trees and plants! Enter and let yourself be surprised by the magic of the place. "Here, you can hear elephants chirping" in a 5-hectare wood shaped by Alexis Le Breton, a colorful character. A retired farmer, Alexis dedicated the last 23 years of his life to creation. La Mare au poivre is now one of the 30 selected sites of outsider art in France, alongside the famous Palais du Facteur Cheval. Marie-Thérèse Pasco, Alexis Le Breton's daughter, assisted by volunteers, welcomes and guides visitors in an intimate and offbeat atmosphere! You can also discover the photo space dedicated to Émile Le Visage and the ecological house "Kerterre".

Open from May 1st to September 30th, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. + Wednesdays in July and August from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Any other visiting hours, please make an appointment.
