These two menhirs raise a number of questions. There is no known menhirs from the Neolithic feature with this type of engraving, so they must have been carved much later. For the first, Babouine, the artists reworked the shape, adding a circle for the face, two circles for the eyes, a nose in relief and a hollowed-out mouth.
