The Fortress of Largoët: A Timeless Escape in the Heart of Morbihan

Just 15 minutes from Vannes, the Fortress of Largoët (also known as the Tours d’Elven) invites you on a journey through time. This site, where stone, water, and forest have converged for a thousand years, offers a serene experience away from the modern world.
A Monument of Power: Standing 52 meters high, its main dungeon is one of the tallest in France. Once a symbol of feudal authority, it hosted historical figures such as Anne of Brittany’s guardian and Henry Tudor, the future King Henry VII of England.
A Natural Haven: Surrounded by a vast pond and dense woodland, the fortress offers a poetic landscape perfect for photography and quiet walks.
2026 Highlight: For the first time, the Round Tower is open to the public, offering a new perspective on late medieval military architecture.
Family Adventure: Try the Landscape Game, a life-sized exploration quest for families and friends (extra €25 per group).
    Opening Hours:
Apr 1 – May 30: Weekends, public holidays & school holidays.
June 1 – July 5 & Sept: Daily (except Tuesdays).
    July 6 – Aug 31: Every day.
